Without protected forest for release, we'll need to provide lifelong support to the hundreds of rescued sun bears and moon bears in our care, which can last up to 40 years. Both species are endangered, listed on the IUCN Red List as Vulnerable to Extinction. We are only able to provide this ongoing care with your help.

We offer two separate sponsorship options for bears. You can sponsor one of our Star Bears shown below. We have bears from each sanctuary represented. Your contribution helps support that particular bear as well as the other bears at the sanctuary. We'll email bear updates twice a year, in March and September. 

The second sponsorship option is to adopt a bear. To adopt a bear, we're asking that you cover the annual cost of basic care for your adopted bear. We're looking for sponsors who see this as a long term commitment and wish to continue to support their fur-child on an annual basis. Adoptive parents will NAME their bear, receive bi-annual updates with pictures (in March & September), a bear calendar each year, plus our newsletter twice a year. Plus of course we'd welcome you to visit your fur child at the sanctuary.

BEAR SPONSOR

Form a special bond with an individual bear. New sponsors will be emailed a sponsorship certificate and all sponsors receive bi-annual updates in March & September. Sponsoring a bear each year costs AU$420 / GB£240 / US$336 / EU€264 - you can choose to make monthly, bi-annual or annual installments. ADOPT A BEAR

Create a very special bond by adopting one of our unnamed rescued bears. Not only will you name your new fur child, you'll learn about their history, get regular updates & we'd love for you to visit your fur child whenever you like. Adoption is quite a serious commitment - we ask that you cover the basic costs of annual care which amounts to AUD$3,000 (= approx. GBP£1,650 or USD2,000, depending on current exchange rate). We are looking for adoptive parents who are willing to commit to the health & welfare of their fur-child on a long-term basis. With so many recent rescues, we have many new rescues that are not yet named (referred to by their rescue number). You can meet some of them below.
